i have a  pack of warm white flourescent bulbs by commercial electric will they work for a terrariaum?

Short answer: Yes they are just perfect.

Are they the 4,100°k OR they are the 2,700°K?

What about a GE SoftWhite 100W compact? I guess thats about the same

yes.

to me, coolwhite it more eyepleasing and is geared a little bit more to vegetative growth cuz of the higher blue spectrum.

Ok. The only reason I ask is because I had a 75 watt equiv daylight bulb but I wanted to use a bigger fixture to put more plants under and I have a hard time finding the 100 watt equiv in daylight so I had to go with the sofwhite.

I use 48" For my planted fish tank. I use the aquarium and plant lights from Ge. Can you use reular flourescnce light.

Jim
