here are my plans for the bog garden i will be building this spring. any advice, comments, ect. would be greatly appreciated

100-Gallon Maderia Preformed Lawn Pond

Irrigation: under ground watering
Tube

Growing Medium
Soil Mix 50/50 Sand/Perlite and Sphagnum Peat
Top Live Sphagnum Moss or Long Fiber Sphagnum Moss

Don't use perlite in a bog. When it rains it will float and make a mess.
 
I used perlite in my bogs, I just put a layer of peat and sand on top of the entire bog to make sure the perlite doesn't float when it rains. I hate that!
