    yeap!!....you are going to have a heat problem!
    try the cloth on the setup you have now and see how long you can keep it in sun without cooking your plants. i strongly suggest to avoid the pm sun. try it and let us know! i did...and the temps got to 140 easy without a cloth.

    Ok, right now, I stuck my heater in there just on fan mode. It's in what i think is like... 50% shade cloth. Right now the top shelf is running at around 90, which is a bit high, but not terrible. the lower shelf is just above 80 (bit less sun). The fan is blowing over a tray of water to try and achieve the swamp cooler effect. I figure at night I'll just pop it into heater mode and adjust the built-in thermostat for 80-somethin degrees.

    this weekend is going to be hot so you are going to have perfect conditions to test your setup....and test it for at least a week!.....i didn't have anything inside (like a fan) so that might help
