so i have a pond in the terrarium, and i was wondering(this might sound silly) is there some type of CP that lives directly in water? Just wondering.

They pretty much covered it. I've also seen pingiucula floating on top of water, but they were in peat, and this was in the wild. I would love to see pictures of your terrarium though.
