    Some temperates and others...

I thought i would show some of my temperates before the end of the season
This will be made up of photos taken over the past couple of weeks, mainly in the past day or so.
Low Giant VFT is truely a giant, i absolutely love this cultivar...had a trap last year at about 1.89inches, largest this year was just over 1.5

Baby cross teeth flytrap, just acquired this a couple of weeks ago...cute little thing

Typical flytrap from a deathcube that i rescued last year....

    S. flava var. cuprea

my retarded S. oreophila, it only sent out 2 good pitchers this year, the rest were retard half phyllodia half pitcher leaves like this one, i only took a photo of the pitcher part.

    S. psittacina

baby S. minor surrounded by D. intermedia

    D. californica, the browned pitcher heads are the result from the thrip attack back in june...otherwise its recovered nicely

another new acquisition S. oreophila x leucophylla, this is the only pitcher it arrived with but is still a gorgeous one....cant wait to see next years crop

    S. leucophylla 'hurricane creek white' seedling 1

    S. leucophylla 'hurricane creek white' seedling 2

    S. purpurea

    S. flava

    S. leucophylla 'tarnok'

    S. rubra

    S. minor 'okee giant'

    minibogs

    S. 'danas delight'

    outdoor growing area

Little H. minor that came back from the dead

    baby ceph

    Enjoy

    Nice, Kris.

I really need to get more VFTs, and need to get way farther into Sarracenia.

I especially like the leuco x oreo, nice coloration and shape to it! Is it just me, or is that baby cross teeth making a flower... ambitious little guy Next year, no more pots, i will be doing like this, and making a bunch of mini bogs.. That typical vft definately is not typical, in the definition sense, it's quite unique! Good growing
    Grow list...

Looking great. Too bad it's almost time for dormancy for you. :/

Good to hear that the H. minor came back.

SK, I've been considering getting bogs like those - how do you repot? Seems like you would have to turn the whole thing upside down, which would be dangerous, or dig them out, which would risk breaking roots. Also, how do you control the water level? Do you just eyeball it, or did you drill a drainage hole?
