My grow rack: criticism, please!

  • #21
Guys... Help! My rack gets too hot! I opened the front flap the other day and my thermometer read 95 degrees! I have one fan above the lights already. Is the solution here to get more fans, or should most of my plants be comfortable in these temperatures with a bit more water?

95 would be too hot for highland plants, but in general isnt too bad....though its on the high side of pushing it....
i would add another fan to the lower level, below the lights, and open one side of the grow space, if you havent already....humidity is not that big of a deal with most plants...

Best to take some material of the front off your rack! Give them some air to breathe!!

Air? Aw geez, who woulda thought plants needed that stuff anyway ;)

The top of the rack is open to the air, but I'll try opening a side flap as suggested to get some cross ventilation in there.
