This is only the beginning. In due time that window will be caked with CP's. I can see it now..
And your in a good CP collector's area.
If I may, what is the origin of your avatar? I'm in love with albomarginata 'Black/Purple'..
Everything's okay so far from the lights? Awesome!

My Grow List:
Mass, that was actually a picture taken at Sarracenia Northwest's open house back in July. I have other pics of their nursery that I can post if anyone would like to see them. Needless to say, they had some of the finest plants I've ever seen.
Next weekend is their second open house, so if anyone else is in the area it's $10 per car to check it out. Free food and drinks, and several plants that cannot be found on their website.
Unstuckin, the top shelf is only 20 inches from the lights, and the bottom is 30. I read quite a bit about distance, and this seems like a very safe level for them. The maxima is even developing much more red on its leaves than before. I'm definitely open to suggestions though. Do you think some of the plants need to be closer?

I should also note that all the sundews and flytraps in the long potter are usually kept outside, hanging over my balcony. Most of them were not doing well at all, so I decided to just keep them all outside. After a week or so, they actually looked much better than they had before. I think some of them really needed the nightly cool down.
so did you get all the light wiring issues taken care of?
Oh yeah! The lights are working without issue. Thanks again for the help, Av.
and you waxed the reflector?
Ah, no. I haven't done that, yet. Still need to go out and purchase some wax for it. What do you think about the distance from the light to the plants, though? To me it seems alright, but I became less sure when Unstuckin seemed surprised..
Depends on plant to a great deal mato, but i can tell ya that too far wont burn but too close will.
Start where you are, and if you feel they need to be closer then move em closer.... my helis are within an inch or two of mine. But neps couldnt stand it anywhere close to that....
lotsa variables and no black and white answers
Thanks, that's pretty much what I gathered. I might consider moving some of the sundews closer, but the neps seem pretty comfortable.
