    Looks like your school knows how to take care of them better. My university here has all the Nepenthes potted in straight ground coconut husk!

    Nepenthes Bicalcarata currently growing in the greenhouse.
    It doesn't seem to be growing so good, the humidity is high, but the temperature is in the 75 range.

    ^ throw some ladybugs in there with the lettuce or even better ladybug larvae

    on the bical, how wet is the media? Looks like tray watering....the mighty bical don't like it that wet I am told. also how much light is it getting?
