Updates!! Everything has started to explode with new growth ever since a vent was installed to raise the temp drop even more! Not many opened pitchers yet, but a lot of tendrils showing promise.

    N. Raffelsisna brunei X Trusmadiensis with a little more coloring.

Another upcoming pitcher... this guy sure does grow fast.

    N. raffelsiana brunei X Trusmadiensis

    N. Robcantleyi with the next pitcher snuggling itself into the moss. Seems to really like doing that.

    N. Hamata with another new pitcher.

    N. Macrophylla working on it's next leaf. Typical Robcantleyi pace.

    N. Spathulata tendril test.. either it likes to wrap around things, or bury itself in the soil. Lets see.

    N. Spathulata female tendril test

    New arrivals:

    N. Truncata X X Trusmadiensis inside it's shrouded rehab tepe. Hopefully it won't be hidden much longer.

Thanks! The HLers are naturally cooled since they are in an un-heated garage where the temps get nearly as cold as the outside helps do at night. Still, the temps this year have worked me so I decided to hook up a vent that sucks in the 50s*F air from outside at night. So far, it's been doing pretty well. I'm not completely with the whole lighting systems thing. All I know is that they are standard lights and there longer then 24' in length. The plants don't seem to mind, although I may install some different spectrums in the winter when all the Highlanders are growing in "full speed ahead" mode. That should be interesting.
