I gots a terrarium!! :-D

  • #81
I bought my singalana with 1/4" leaves and a few 1/2" and 1" leaves... Took less than a year to get to 3-4" leaves. I'd say those seedlings will get to 6" across in maybe two years tops. Keep the updates coming! :)

Nice nep!

  • #83
N. truncata leaves are supposed to look like that. It's a very adaptable plant.

  • #84
Your truncata might do better in intermediate conditions instead of pure highland conditions, It should end up doing fine either way, but cooler temps might lead to yellowing of leaves? Don't know.
Leaf yellowing can also be a sign of nutrient deficiency, so make sure it's getting enough of all nutrients ;)
Still looks healthy overall though.

  • #85
I could place it on the windowsill but the humidity is lower there. I'll be sure to feed it :D

  • #86
The windowsill shtuff...

Truncata was moved to the window.

Pitcher is showing nice color, has small lid syndrome though...

The "Utricularium" :awesome: From left to right is Livida, Longifolia, and Sandersonii.

Good 'ol Capensis Alba

The biggest nep in my collection so far, N. x Sophia. Could have been producing intermediate pitchers by now but I was watering it with my horrible mineral infested water. It might be a little while before it recovers.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/83097220@N03/8290382412/" title="IMG_0319 by That One Guy7, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8359/8290382412_1108dc4421_z.jpg" width="640" height="480" alt="IMG_0319"></a>

Ventrata was also tortured with the bad water. Only the basals are growing and pitchering right now, the other half hasn't grown in months. -__-

  • #90

  • #91
Thank you, thankyouverymuch.

Peat, the cross is Alata x Eclipse. Eclipse has ramspina in it but I don't really know. It was given to me by Paul B, maybe he knows.

  • #93
Mine is a is either a 15 or 20 gal I think. I can only keep a certain amount of plants in there since the other half is taken up by frozen bottles to cool the air during the night.

Ugh, dunno why they're showing up contorted, sorry. They were fine when I uploaded them on the PC. :-(

  • #96
They look fine now. Must have fixed it.

  • #98
Nice video, sir. Your N. izumiae is flowering? Congrats! :D But seriously, I'm jealous your Night Sky is flowering, haven't seen anything out of mine yet. Night Sky x HCW would be a really cool cross

  • #99
Thanks Iwest! Haven't seen you around lately, nice to see you back. I know what all my neps are but didnt know what my sarrs were when they are dormant and you can only see the rhizome so I had to use the nep tags. :p Yeah night sky is a nice one. I really don't know what I'm going to cross it with yet but I'll keep that in mind. One cool hybrid I thought of was Flava Runricorpora x Lueco HCW but doesn't seem like the Flava is going to flower. :-|

Yep, it's been a busy winter of college applications, glad to be done with those and back on here! And hey, you never know, Sarracenia flowers can pop up at all different times during Spring. I only have 10 plants flowering out of my like 30-40ish flowering size Sarrs, so I'm certainly hoping that more pop up on the pronto! That would be a sick moorei cross for sure. If my rubricorpora decides to flower I can probably send you some pollen too. Nothing yet but fingers crossed.. Also, if you wanna swap pollen from any of my other sarrs currently flowering, I could do that too. I posted all of my sarrs that are flowering in the flower watch thread.
