It's good to see you rebuilding the collection. The photos with the new lens are so tasty!

Thanks Graham. The lens is indeed awesome. But I understand the need for VR on the lens. As the focal length increases, every little vibration gets magnified and the photo becomes blurry. Only with a tripod can U get perfectly sharp/steady pics.

A big update on my tank accumulated since late last year.

Used to have some problems with misting tubes staying up. So drilled into the tank frame (worked out great) and those problems are gone forever. Tubing is now perfect and there is minimal vibration and noise. Also for such a small tank, inspite of being in basement, the 3 CFL + 2 x T8 fixture started causing major heat issues. Replaced lights with a major upgrade. 4 freshwater LED planted tank fixtures.

Before..notice all the suction cups holding the tubes.

Replaced the exo terra background with a more space efficient construction by myself. After almost 4-5 months...I am pretty happy by how it worked out. The moss seems to survive on it better with the additional water source of dead LFS in the egg crate framework.

    cheers

And now current progress on the plants. Was away for 3 months due to family issues. I had a friend come in and fill up water once every 1-2 weeks and inspite of all expectations and ironically, the plants actually survived and the tank did great. Although based on the events that happened, I would have gladly accepted an overall reversal in my life.

    Now some closeups

    N. lowii Mt. Trusmadi sg

    U. quelchii

    Lepanthes adrianae

    Poroglossum dreisei

    Lepanthes terborchii

    Lepanthes maxonii progression of keiki

Overall I think this plant got too much TC hormones. lol. Fewer leaves on mother plant vs number of keiki. I think also a perfect testament that lepanthes prefer epiphytic growing without any moss or anything if conditions are right.

    cheers

    Outstanding V!

everything looks awesome but omg that living room looks way too neat and tidy,
We got to do something about that.... youre male, single, in school and way too young to have anything that tidy

should at least be a pizza box or some empty take away boxes somewhere :P

good to see you back old friend,
