Can The Rack Support A Second Light?

    So today I picked up my 2nd 4-ft 4-bulb T5HO fixture.
Below is the rack I currently have with 1 rack of plants and 1 rack of seeds, most of which can be consolidated now. Early on, one of the rollers on the rack broke off, so I have it propped to the proper height with a piece of wood. If I do add the second fixture, I'll for sure just take off the other 3 coasters so it is well balanced. Do you think it is safe to add the weight of a second light to the rack? Just don't want to come home to a collapsed rack!

You could place some water bottles where you are planning on placing the new light and see if it would hold the weight while you were home. Otherwise a few pieces of well placed wood can add a huge amount of support.

The packaging of the shelves should have listed the maximum weight each tier can support. If you remember the make and model look it up online or go back to the store where you bought it and take a look.
Grand Hotel... always the same. People come, people go. Nothing ever happens.

That looks like the Wireframe one from Lowes that everyone buys. If so they can probably handle just about anything you throw at it, they're pretty sturdy.
