What adhesives are good for vinyl?

I'm making a humidity hood for my plant growing shelf out of clear vinyl shower curtains. I need to know what adhesives bond well to vinyl, because parts of it are currently held together with tape, pending a good adhesive.

I would go with a bathtub caulk (air out very well before putting plants in) or a sealer for aquariums. For best bond clean the surfaces with alcohol and scratch lightly where adhesive will be. This will help with holding power. If you live in U.S. most hardware stores carry a fair line of several different adhesives and epoxys.
