I have a twin tube 2 foot fluorescent fixture with two 6400K full spectrum Agrosun fluorescent tubes. How far should I place this away from my plants and is this the right spectrum for growing carnivorous plants?

the distance you may be able to adjust won't change the light spectrum, just the intensity.

I have been using 6500K for a long time with great results, and recently got a 6400K that seems to work great. You want to place the plants as close to the light as possible without overheating/burning them. I have mine about 5-6 inches away.

more like 1-2" for optimal use of available light. They work just fine for many indoor growers.
