Temperature max

Sometimes my terrarium gets into the mid 90s during the day. Is this bad for most CPs?

not for lowlanders.

summer min. for me is 75, max is 95 for lowlanders.

What about sundews, flytraps and highlanders? I mean, so far they don't seem to be suffering because of the high temps, but I just want to make sure.

no highland dews, flytraps ok (while your at it, put the flytraps outside)

absolutely not for highlanders. some plants take that fine like ventricosa, sanguinea etc (you all know the ones). but other "real" highlanders, not at all.

90F is fine for all your plants.

Incidently, 86F (30C) is the optimum temperature for a lot of plants as this is the temperature at which photosynthesis is at its most efficient.

Cool, thanks for the replies guys.

The only Nep I'm growing at the moment is sanguina, so that works out.

86 degrees? Interesting Alvin...

my highlanders are responding quite well at about that temp.
