Pings are rarely offered for sale in Singapore. Recently, there was a batch of at least two hybrids that was offered for sale and some of us bought them.
Recently, some of them flowered, and while we thought that the plant was the same hybrid (false Weser/Sethos), due to the wavy margins and broadly lanceolate leaf shape, the flowers all look somewhat different.
Three of the flowers from three separate plants grown by three different growers are shown below. Is it possible that there are three types involved or are the differences we see due to cultural conditions or hybrid diversity?
Grown by guqin under PL lights for 16 hours a day, airconditioned room
Grown by Cindy under T5 lights, outdoors on a balcony at a high-rise apartment
Grown by another grower, outdoors, bright light with direct sunlight from 11 to 12 pm.
