I've had this plant for several years, and have finally decided to ask what the heck it is! It sure is a good grower, and generally always has several blooms of flowers.
It's called Euphorbia milli. The common name is "Crown of Thorns". Be careful of the white sap; apparently it can cause skin irritation (but never has for me) and temporary/permanent blindness if put into the eye. Don't eat it either. All Euphorbia have it.
