I can't find any pics online of "Suzie Q" , since it's not registered, but the name was only thrown around a llittle on google. It does sound like your description. I have a plant that I recently repotted that is going to flower in a week. I'll post pics. Unfortunately, it's not looking so hot... but I have seed from a few months ago if you're up for some. Are you still growing? It's great to finally experience your help after reading your amazing tips/ posts for about a year now!
    Thank's,
    Aaron

Hello Aaron, nice to meet you too. Thanks much for the offer of seed, but current health issues prohibit my growing. Maybe in the spring I can arrange some space to grow some CP, I sure do miss the plants!

I never had any collection data on the prospective "Suzie Q" so am not surprised there was no websearch hits. I loved all the D. spatulata forms and there are so many - I've grown rosetted plants half the size of a dime to the huge Drosera 'Tamlin' which appaears to be circulating in the UK at least. Most of the forms are flat and wagon wheel-like, but this form makes very thick rosettes nearly totally red including the petiole.

Alright, I'll be sure to save you some seed from the next batch!
I might be mistaken, but the guy i traded to get the plants said he grew them from leaf cuttings he collected on his property in Redwood Valley, CA. I could have the story wrong though. I'll have to try contacting him and see if he's still growing the plant/ where he actually obtained it.
    Take care,
    Aaron

Didn't hear back from steven, but I did take some really poor pictures of the flower:

Here's an update on the plant:

Here's a link to see it in higher resolution:

Hopefully this can confirm whether or not it is a D. spatulata, after hearing mixed results on some other forums.
    Thanks again,
    Aaron
