    Non-CP

Last year a friend of mine told me that he had a plant in his front yard that he didn't know what it was. He said about 10 years ago a man stopped and told him that the plant was extremely rare and offered him a lot of money for it. Of course I had to go look at the plant. I had planned to take some good pics of it, but I forgot my camera at home. I used my phone to take a few pics. I have no idea what it is but it's located in the coastal plains of North Carolina about 30 miles from the ocean. Columbus County to be more exact.

    Can anybody ID this plant.

Sorry about the quality of the pics but like I said I had to use my phone.

Reminds my of a Styrax grandifolius, but I would have to look at it long and more detail. Plus someone else for sure.

No joke, I just wanted to know what kind of plant it is.

After Sean's suggestion, I did a little research and I think it may be Carolina siverbells. Which is very close to Styrax grandifolius.
