Non CP plant ID

I was given this small plant and looking for the ID.


I saw the full grown plant and will try to describe it best I can.

The multiple stems grows about 12" tall and 3 large , around 4" wide, triangular deep red leaves grow on top each stem. When smaller like my plant the leaves are green.

Oxalis regnellii - "shamrock plant" or "false shamrock"
possibly "Oxalis regnellii var. triangularis"

Its a native of Brazil..nothing to do with Ireland!

My mom has one as a houseplant that belonged to her mother..that plant is 60 years old!
I have always meant to get a division of it..
