new dew

I just got this sundew from a deathcube I rescued, It's not the healthiest thing, but it's beginning to get some new growth since I repotted it. Any input on what it might be would be greatly appreciated. I think it might be anglica?...

Drosera capensis.

Well that was fast. please forgive my ignorance.

Nothing to forgive! Trust me, we all started in the same place.

And believe me, that thing will look MUCH better if you give it some good light. Do it gradually though, it can't take full sun right away. Keep moving it into brighter and brighter locations.

looks like an etoliated D. capensis to me

Very very possible. I just got it about a week ago, and the conditions were deplorable.

You got that in a death cube? All I can find are D. adelae.
