    Sarracenia Leucophylla ?

I sow Sarracenia Leucophylla seeds and got some seedlings. They don't look like sarracenia seedlings to me. I see leaves not tubes. They are sarracenica are they? I need your expertise !!! What are they ? Thanks.

    Ditto. Sarracenia seedlings.

Those are the cotyledons, the seed leaves. They are the first to come up out of the seed, and, with some groups like legumes, they contain extra nutrition for the growing seedling, like a baby bird carrying part of the yolk inside it for a day or so. The next leaves that will come up will be tubes.

    Have fun watching these grow!
