Unknown Woodland Plant

Hey guys!

So, I took a walk in the woods today and found this guy. At first, I thought it was some sort of Cypripedium, but the more I look at pictures, the more I think that it's not. So here's the info:

In Rhode Island, in the woods, growing on a little island in a freshwater stream.

There were many around, all close to the water, but this was the biggest and most developed. And yet? No flowers, which I would think would have already been out if it were a Cypridium. So what do you think?

Thanks,
CJ

Idk what it is but its a beautiful plant.

My first gut reaction was Lily of the Valley...but it's way too big for that.

These folks might be able to help you out: http://www.riwps.org

No idear but those leaves are gorgeous!

I forget what it's called but, I have several growing in my wildflower bed. It gets 3-4 feet tall and shoots up branched stalks of tiny white flowers. Flies are the main pollinators, it draws them in like crazy.

Whatever it is, here's mine.

Definitely not a Lady Slipper then, huh? If you ever remember what it's called, let us know.
