    Mystery Traveler

We bought a typical VFT the other day and it had this white plastic ring covering the soil, and when we looked underneath we found this little guy:

It looks to my (admittedly untrained- this is my first CP) eye to be a severely underdeveloped sundew, but I have no idea. What say you guys?

Sundews are common weeds in the world of CP's, but this doesn't look like one to me. It could be some kind of bladderwort, which are also somewhat common weeds. I really need a better photo to tell.

Do you guys think it might be a moss worth cultivating? I had been thinking of growing some live sphagnum to go with my planned collection

If that is moss, it most definitely not sphagnum. Here is an example of some live sphagnum moss.

If you wish to grow live sphagnum, you can find it for sale on eBay.

If you plan on buildling a terrarium, you could keep some for that. Otherwise, it's not worth keeping.
