    Mystery sarracenia

We rescued a new sarracenia- and I'm quite taken with it, but I can't quite put my finger on what its parents were. To me it looks a bit like a cross between minor and psitaccina. Any clues would help!

I believe what you have there is a Sarracenia 'Scarlet Belle' which is a clone of leucophylla x psittacina.

Definitely some form of wrigleyana although not necessarily 'Scarlet Belle' so dont label it as such, as 'Scarlet Belle' can only be reproduced vegetatively, so unless you are absolutely sure it is a 'Scarlet Belle' label it S. X wrigleyana

It's 'Scarlet Belle'; S. x wrigleyana is not a common hybrid in cultivation (thanks to flowering times of the parents), and 'Scarlet' has a very, very distinct appearance. There are other cultivars of the cross out there, but they bear little similarity.
Everything has a reason, whether big or small. Never underestimate the power of what is or is not.
