Any ideas?

Any ideas on what the heck this is

I have it next to my driveway under a pinetree. The leaves are quite similar to a Cypripedium orchid but....the flowering buds are what baffles me. Any ideas? All repllies greatly appreaciated!!!

Looking through my 'weed' book of NY.. I am coming up with Epipactis helleborine. Will be easier to tell when the flowers open.

Ok the flowers are open...this is definetly an orchid!! I am really surprized to see a native orchid show up 20 ft from my house 3 ft away from my driveway! Here's a pic. is this an uncommon NY occurence?

What's the status on this plant Tony? Does the book say common uncommon rare, etc? I am guessing common. DEC says it's a frequent species in NY state.
