    Petiole too short for d. anglica, not wide enough for d. rotundifolia, and not round enough for d. capillaris, and too big for d. brevifolia. Looks like a d. intermedia to me too. Want more? Don't transplant. instead, take the leaf off the end of the growing stalk, take the leaf, tentacle side up, and press it into the soil surface. Wait 4 to 6 weeks, and plantlets will grow from some of the bases of the tentacles, and increase your plants considerably. HOWEVER! Winter is approaching, and the plant will go dormant. Let it sleep, and work with it next year. Now you know the species. Leave it to rest and start fresh next year.

    The sundew hitch hickers I got from bobz turned out to be D. capensis. They did look more round like yours until they got bigger.
