I remember ladybugs having orangish oval eggs... or is that just me?

certain that they are not ladybugs. Ladybugs go through complete metamorphosis so immature stage looks very different from adult. more like a hemipteran/heteroperan. Maybe pentatomidae or scutellaridae. stinkbug or shieldbug. Both families are closely related.

Not sure what they are but they're definitely not ladybug eggs
Ladybug eggs are elongated & yellow

Hopefully they're not something that'll eat you plants

Don't think the're ladybugs. Ladybugs don't hatch out from eggs into adult form.

EDIT: Those things are not the things I find on occasion. Not at all.
    My bad.
