A big "Welcome Caro!" from the deep south. I would definitely look into LACPS, you will find a wealth of knowledge there - as you will here. I wish there was a cp club around here , I have not seen a live CP lover (in person) since I left Seattle 2+ years ago! I have found this forum to be a great place to grow my knowledge, my contacts, and my collection!

Oh,

If I remember right it didn't take very long at all. Each new leaf would come in at about the same rate as with an established plant. It might also flower, which is worth seeing at least once.

I'm in Virginia, so VFTs are right at home here, but I haven't really grown them outside yet. I had a very shady yard, but just moved a few months ago and have a VFT-friendly deck now.

They're all in the fridge except a couple baby Big Mouths which are taking forever to grow up. I don't have many, just Typical, Dente, and Big Mouth.

I don't really have a favorite variety... I ended up more interested in Neps... but I'd probably pick Red Dragon.

Well what the heck.. 3 Steves is never enough so lets add 1 more.

Welcome to the forum Carito. I will be doing some divisions of my plants in a few weeks, I might be able to help you out with a few mature plants then.

Cheers

I'm utterly floored and shocked by everyone in this community.

There is such a rampant friendliness, immediate trust, and just a general warmth. I'm so grateful to be part of something like that!

To everyone: I'm a web/graphic designer, PLEASE let me know if I can help you out with making graphics/icons/avatars/sigs/sites!!

(hugs)
Caro

Ps. I'm utterly NUTTY. I think I'll fit right in with everyone and their idiosycrasies, but I am truly eccentric, enough to be deemd crazy

Welcome to the group ! The best way I've found to learn is from mistakes I and others have made. Post your questions and you'll find someone has usually done it right and wrong several times. Don't be afaid of taking a loss though once in a while. Builds your CP desire and determination !! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN !! kinda thing Most of all have fun !
