Ok well, i was in the UK CP Forum at loss of their being no USA CP forum.. then some one informed me! Their is!! What a suprise... i almost started my own.

Ill coppy and paste my Entry from the CPUK forum Intro.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Im new hear 15 years old, got into CP's this past summer, when i bought a cheep VFT from Lowes *shame shame* Kept it in a dimly lit window, it started to get long lanky leaves and small traps, so i got my old 20 gallon out filled the bottom 1/3 of it w/ soil and sand making a classic terrium. Well of course in a window it heated up, kiilled every thing except my D. adalea and S. purpurea, its preaty amazing that they are still alive. I quickly turned to the internet for help. And I found it. And im trying to utalize as many resorces as i can! And have sence then turned my Colection from 4 measly plants i new nothing about to 16 diffrent kinds of VFT's Sundews Sarr's Neps, and a sadly dieing D. Californica wich i hope to get help w/ but im afraid its to far from saving
:cry: . But now know much more with the help of The Savage Garden and The Carnivorous E-book from the guys at Sarracenia North West. I Am currently purchasing a few more though to add to my limited space.
I love this Place the Diversity of this place it is just amazing! and I get to learn about the best thing of all! Carnivorous plants!!!!
Enjoy, these Naturaly occouring S. Purpurea from Michagain (sorry spellings so horrible)!!
Cheers all
But these arent the best they have looked but they are the most recent, they will look better this year, and they will have nicer coloring (they were a mild pink mouth)
Cheers
Any coloring in a VFT is called anthocyanin. Lack of it is anthocyanin free. Same applies to pitcher plants and drosera's.
I loved your dionaea pictures! They look so green and healthy. You should give them a dose of sun though to redden their traps, ehehehhehe...
Oh this was a while ago befor i new much about the sunlight and every thing. i was lucky to have them growing! They will get 2 times as much sun this time around IM going to build a Bog for them to enjoy. and ill be giving it pleanty of mulch and all that nice stuff. with some possible scenary grass or bog plants that will look nice.
