Knuckles

Chief Cat Behavior Specialist
Hi everyone,
Just got on board this great forum after becoming once again actively involved in this hobby.
I only recently got addicted to Neps and started adding to my collection. I once had many Drosera, Dionaea, and a few nep species when I used to tissue culture them; but, eventually I gave them all away because I didnt have the time for them. So Im not too much of a Nep noob but still have much to learn. I built a small terrarium and have nice little collection so far:
N. Rafflesiana
N. Rafflesiana Brunei Giant
N. 'Red Dragon'
N. Spectabilis N Sumatra region
N. Miranda
N. Maxima Tentena region
N. Eymae
N. Ventrata
and a few seeds Im about to sow for later trading!

Ive had the rafflesianas red dragon and ventrata for some time now (theyre tough ones that survived my carelessness..)

My other hobbies are in my profile but this and reefkeeping have to be the most expensive .. ..and the girlfriend :hail:

Hope to get to know everyone well and be able to learn and participate in CP community

Welcome to TF George.

My money hibernates in the winter and spends itself away in the spring.

Welcome to TF!

btw What reptiles are you keeping?

  • #17
Thanks Valy theres one with your name on it
Well I guess the initial cost of the Cp hobby is the expensive part; but, not the case for reefkeeping and my lady ;)

I have kept many reptiles including: burmese python, ball python, ribbon snake, rat snake, corn snake, once had a yellow belly water snake, red eared turtle, alligator snapping turtle, softshell turtle, box turtle, hermanni tortouse, iguana, nile monitor lizard, bearded dragon, anole, leopard gecko, Sceloporus occidentalis lizard, desert horned, 5 lines skink.......... and probably a few more I missed. Ive had many other types of animals also..marsupials, insects, birds, amphibians, arachnids, rodents....etc. Pretty much a zoo. I have slowly sold and given away most of my animals over a few years after moving to an apartment. The snakes went to a friend. The only things I brought with me are the few CP's I had, aquarium, dogs, and leopard gecko. I still consider this a hobby since I plan to get back into it once I have the space (house).
Hey I just realized there's an aquarium section - nice

Wow you have kept a lot of different animals... Let me know when you want some more Leos as I breed them and have plenty...

Cannot wait to see you around the forums.
