Its either N. ventricosa or N. X ventrata

In addition to growing plants, I design and build RC planes powered by Tesla batteries. Check out my progress at www.chargedplanes.com

I have 8 Lowe's Nepenthes. I originally only got two, but a few weeks ago 6 were in the clearance for $2.42 each so I picked them all up. They clerk said that they were in the clearance because they were not selling. They were almost perfect. Mine all look like the one in the post. I thought they were N ventricosa. They look quite a bit alike. Is there any way to tell which it may be? or is it just a coin toss?

Wow. That's a great find. I would have bought them all too. Harden those babies off and you could start trading for others.
Where in SoCal did you find those?

I think technically it is La Habra. I actually contacted Gublers Orchids, they distribute the plants in the round pot with the cup taped on top, and talked to a young lady there. She let me know the delivery schedule for the two closest stores to me and has made sure that their orders contain as much variety as possible. I have gotten two D spathulata from them as well as a Ping that I accidentally cooked. She is making sure that there are a few on the next order. I hope to grab two or three. I hope that helps.
