    It's true, I can sometimes live in a state minor of disrepair. I thought about cleaning for the photo, but effort far outweighed the reward.

    It's a Chinese Elm. It's ten years old. I didn't train it. It came pre-formed. Fortunately, there is a good bonsai store here. At least this place has that going for it.

    Wow. Thats pretty interesting. I heard some about bonsai the other day and it sounds pretty cool. Do you basically just put a seed/small tree in a pot and it stays small do to it's contatiner being small? Or do you just keep on cutting it so it wont outgrow the pot and get big and tall?

    I'm no expert but it also involves trimming the roots and the branches so that the small roots can only allow enough growth for the limbs to stay small.
