New seeds/help

New seeds/have growing info

Hi, i have recently recieved a ton of new seed to start germinating and if anyone could help it would be appreciated, i would like to know if they have to be startified, and how to germinate them, heres the list:

Passion fruit '08'
red bird of paradise '08'
yucca brevifolia-Joshua tree '08'
hesperaloe parviflora-red yucca '08'
palo verde tree '08'
catalpa tree '08'
amaranthus '08'
sage '09'
Proboscidea Parviflora var. hohokamiana '09' think there is a post of germating these on this forum/ ill take a look at it
buttonbush '09' in strat/need germination info

Although most are packed for '08' the seed looks promising, all is still very plump, and looks like ill definatly get some results, thanks for your help
 
i have started to germinate these and here are some results so far:

Palo verde tree seeds:
first i used a pair of nail clippers and clipped the seedcoat to expose the inside
then soaked in warm water, change water daily
on the 2-3 day roots are visible and start to emerge from the seeds
i have potted them will get pics once plants are established

Catalupa tree seeds:
Take seeds soak in warm water, change water daily
on day 3-4 roots are visable and start to emerge from the seeds

Red bird of paradise:
first use nail clippers and clip seedcoat to expose inside
soak in warm water, change daily
roots appear on day 3-4

yucca brevifolia-joshua tree
optional to use nail clippers and clip seed coat
soak in water
roots appear days 2-3
 
Hi dustin, although i know nothing on germinating these seeds im glad you posted how you have so far germinated them. Thats good for folks on here to know please keep us updated..
