The first is a Schefflera, also known as an umbrella plant, native to Australia. I believe it is Schefflera actinophylla.

The second is some form of Dracenea (spelling?), perhaps D. marginata?

The first is sometimes known as an "umbrella tree/plant" and is a larger species of schefflera.
The second is a Dracaena. You can figure out which on at www.dracaena.com.
    Hope this helps.
