please help me help my Hyndrangea

i rescued this poor plant from death as it was going to be thrown away, the original leaves were dry and so were the flowers, i took it home and watered it, added 99cent store soil and new green growth sprouted, it was growng fine until the leaves have started to look like this, what can i do to better the plant? any specific soil brand recommendations? i live close to home depot and walmart so somethin known to be sold there would help since im not too familliar with unknown stores or fancy types of soils for flowering plants. the plant in the pictures recieves about 4 hours of direct sunlight a day then complete shade, thanks! btw those are eggshells in the soil i heard they are good for the soil

Are there any pests lingering under the leaves or in the soil? What's the brand of the soil? Egg shells are put on top of soil to add calcium, check your water; honestly you might not even need the shells in there.
