    Bulbophyllums and Masdevallias are among my favorites. I really love most Pleurothalids though.

    Actually, I think your Masdie may be mislabeled as well. The flower form looks wrong.

    Glad you discovered the bulbo's name -- it definitely had the wrong shape for guttulatum.

    Oh, your harlequin phal is not that bad. I will agree with you that there are nicer ones out there, but still wouldn't slap that poor thing with an "ugly" label.

    I didn't think it was a M.amabilis either. Apparently it's cultivar 'D' grown by a Dr. Rolando from Peru.
