That's a great looking Nepenthes behind the S. minor. Must be named after a good looking guy.

What?? Manny, did you say someone named a plant after me?? Well, you did mention a good looking guy!!!!

Yes, that's the tough N. 'Manny Herrera' behind the S. minor, named after the very handsome creator of the hybrid... and No, it's not N. 'Bugweed'.

Here are a few more pics Michelle took today.

Now that's what a call a S. x ahlesii! I guess it's not a hybrid you'd expect to be anything special but that's a great form you've got there.. good growing!

Must... suppress... jealousy...

Seriously, awesome looking plants. WHich reminds me I need to remove my own Sarras from the fridge, where they were placed for protection during a particularly deep cold snap a month ago ::curses Virginia and it's insane climate::

Wow, they're amazing.

Your Franklin S. leucophylla looks like it has a red S. alata somewhere in its genes!

Thanks everyone.
The Franklin County (FL) giant S. leucophylla do not grow with any other species of Sarracenia. These are also called Tate's Hell Giant leucos, and may be very close to the southeastern extreme of S. leucophylla range. They're just beautiful.

*major drool*. How in the world do you guys differentiate between a "red S. leucophylla" and something like S. "Dana's Delight" and a S. 'Judith Hindle' and a....?

The size alone of the Tate's Hell S. leucophylla would put Dana's Delight and Judith hindle to shame.
