I'd be keen to try this ceph too if you're open to shipping to Singapore.

    Cheers!

    Hey there gar,
Where did you get your original plant. In other words, Was the seed from your plants and obtained somewhere else/
I have one nearly that Black that I received from Allen Lowrie.
I am watching it very closely

Every seed that you plant ,doesn't sprout.
Every seed that sprouts, doesn't make it to maturity.
Every cutting that you stick doesn't grow roots.
Every cutting that roots doesn't grow to a small plant.
Every small plant doesn't reach maturity.

The more cultivars the better and it really is an accomplishment to have noticed and maintained that. But I'll go against the grain and say I much prefer a green Ceph with only a little red. So I'm not part of the prospective market for one of those. I don't have anything against red and love a red-tube S. flava. But Cephs (and S. leucophyllas) are best with only a little red accenting. In my minority opinion, of course. Good luck!

So, you're "there" rather than "here" on this one Bruce??

That's a pretty fine looking plant- the glossy black "lip" is particularly striking, best of luck on the registration, it really does deserve it

Sweet! If you are interested to find out if the colour stays throughout the year without significant temperature drops during the night, please send a cutting over in 2008. By then, I will be confident to keep it alive.
