    Hardy?

    One quick question.
Can I grow sarracenias in climate zone 7? In a greenhouse without heating.
At least I think its climate zone 7 :S Im swedish so .... I dont get lower temps then -15 for a couple of weeks in winter here.
I found info on European climate zones equal to the US on the net.

    -15C is 5F, -15F is worse.

5F is too low most likely. Most plants can only tolerate at most a brief dip slightly lower than 20F, unless we are dealing with plants like S. purpurea ssp. purpurea or D. rotundifolia.

    S. oreophila, S. flava, S. purpurea ssp venosa native ranges include zone 7. You should be able to grow these with no problems outdoors. The other species will probably need some protection in the dead of winter. You might be able to grow S. purpurea ssp purpurea but those are typically zones 2-6.
Grand Hotel... always the same. People come, people go. Nothing ever happens.
