i found it today when i was removing some webs on my pitcher
the spider started running around all crazy and i tried to push the spider n the pitcher but the spider was too big
i ended up throwin the plant outside
r spiders good for pitchers?
Sure! Spiders are probably taking a small amount of nutrition away from the plant, while potentially eating some nasty critters like aphids. Excrement is also often easier for plants to process.
Once a mama spider had her babies in one of my plant's old pitchers. I figured I'd leave her there since it was an old pitcher. But, I'm sure the plant doesn't mind.
