    yeah but never on holding still as this guy. He was so enthralled with the nectar on the plant that he didn't even notice me.

    He is meant to look like that, and as far as I know bee's/wasps don't have iridescence on their body.

    plus, those big 'ole eyes totally scream "fly" as opposed to honeybee
