Sarra Edits and Other Spring Photos

Took a break from watching Star Trek yesterday to take a few photos outside. A few of them looked nice with some editing.

    S. psittacina: selective color edit
    Sarracenia Psittacina: Selective Color

    S. Psittacina: B&W macro
    Sarracenia Psittacina: Brain

    S. Flava: Selective Color Edit
    Sarracenia Flava: Lids

And some more of S. Flava. This variety has almost no red coloration except for some speckling on the throat.

    Sarracenia Flava: Speckled Throat

    Sarracenia Flava

    Sarracenia Flava: In My Backyard

Here's S. leucophylla var. "Titan" from flytrapshop

    Sarracenia Leucophylla var. "Titan"

And here are some macros of S. minor var. "Okee Giant" also from flytrapshop. I crossed this flower with S. leucophylla var. "Titan"

Sarracenia Minor var. "Okee Giant": Flower Developing Seeds

Sarracenia Minor var. "Okee Giant": Fly

Nice, those selective color edits are really something else.

Yeah, it's amazing what a selective color edit can do for an otherwise mediocre picture.
