Oreophila 'sand mountain' x Flava , Now with PICS!!!

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with this highbrid. Sarracenia Oreophila 'sand mountain' x Flava 'Virginia'. Was wondering if anyone has any pics of an adult plant, and what kinda of dormancy you put it through. In the e-mail he said he hhybrid it to be very winter hardy. When it arrives I will take some pics and post them. Thanks in advance guys!

No experience with the hybrid, only its parents. oreophila is incredibly cold tolerant as it is a sarra that originates from the mountains, its generally near its dormancy about this time of year as the area its native to is about to go dry. Easy plants, flava are also highly cold tolerant.
Oreophila and flava are very closely related as well, so its going to look alot like a flava more than likely.
Just give it full sun and a tray of water.
I assume your from PA from your signature, you should be fine with growing it outdoors all year. Look at Barry Rice's website for more info on dormancy (my time is limited since im packing for vacation)

I don't have that particular hybrid, but I do have an (oreophila sand mtn x flava) x leucophylla that I got years ago. Survives Wisc. winters very well, as it's one of my oldest plants. I just keep it in the garage from Nov-Apr. It's the tall, green pitchers in the upper right of the picture below.

Thanks alot guys. I knew they would be cold hardy, just I don't have any experience with Flava. For some reason I never got around to getting one. I usually just put my plants in the fridge for about 4-5 weeks and they do fine. Then back to the windowsill till its gets nice out again. From what I read and what you guys posted, Oreophilla is a very hardy plant. Thanks again, Joshua

BTW, Sarracenia, beautiful photo, thanks for sharing.
