Except for S. minor which has small flowers the rest of the Sarracenia I have produce copious amounts of pollen.

You can use cotton swabs also.

As NaN mentioned, repeated pollinations works best in setting seed. Cross pollination will yield larger quantities of seed as well.
Selfing is possible but usually results in lower seed count. The key seems to be in collecting fresh pollen. You can do this by using a Q-tip and rubbing the anthers rather than collecting the fallen pollen on the umbrella.
I repeated my pollinations 3 times; once a day for 3 days and while some did not give seed, the ones that did did so in copious amounts.

Thanks for the pictures and explanations! Next year I will do repeated hand-pollinating. I do remember seeing tons of pollen on the "umbrella". LOL! And the pollen goes on the star-shaped thingy, right?

Yes, deposit the pollen on the stigma, which on most Sarracenia flowesr is a little hook shaped organ at the types of the "umbrella".

See these article, unfortunately the links to the photos are no longer valid. The photos were invaluable. Perhaps someone in contact with Brooks Garcia can get them updated?
