    Thanks

    BTW

Found these a while back. Looks like five different clones in cultivation.

    Clone A- http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l159/ep1_03/teqa.jpg
    Clone B- http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l159/ep1_03/teqb.jpg
    Clone C- http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l159/ep1_03/teqc.jpg
    Clone D- http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l159/ep1_03/teqd.jpg
    Clone E- http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l159/ep1_03/teqe.jpg

I grow two of these clones. One is extremely vigorous and the other is slow as molasses!

As a rule, Heliamphora hybrids (both natural and horticultural) are generally more vigorous and fast-growing than the individual species, which explains the slower growth of your H. minor . . .

    Update.

Still doing good. I have three adult like pitchers now.

The only question is do you think I should mow the lawn? I don't want the spagh to choke out heli growth. Or will it encourage taller growth due to competition?

Oh, here is what is looked like when i got it two months ago when I originally posted this. Wow! what a difference.

As Bella & others have observed, the crosses are often more vigorous. I've been growing a minor for some time & it's also very slow. However, I received a new small minor & small pulchella in the fall & both are much faster growing than my original minor. To try & jumpstart it, I repotted it a few weeks ago into the same mix the others are in. Hopefully it will get the idea and speed up. It grows but just very slowly. This fall, it sent up a bloom - so it's not unhappy - just slowwwwww.
