Thread: Ceph- 1 year in the life....well almost!

    I don't know, but I changed it from a 9 watt CFL. The ceph is pretty close to the CFL, maybe an inch or two away.

    Even with the 9 watt bulb, I managed to get some surprising color on my H. minor and VFTs.

    EDIT: Oh yea, the color could also be due to the terrarium being somewhat close to a windowsill So maybe the 9 watt had a much larger partner-in-crime (the sun)

    That ceph looks mighty hungry. Great plant and progress. And that ping is fantastic. Wish mine would look that good. You must have a magic lamp.

    Thanks! And, I sure do hope that magic lamp is in any way related to Elgecko's magic window - but so far not, since I can't grow Neps for my life

    actually....at that distance...CFL's can be fantastic. I used to grow my huuuge bical under a single CFL and it used to grow huuuuge tough pitchers and leaves.

    Either way....congrats pet. That is a beautiful ceph.
