    Heliamphora nutans "Giant"

Finally, after making some harsh "lowland gorilla" divisions last year, my Heliamphora nutans "Giant" is finally sending up a flower stalk along with some fine new pitchers; and I am sure that other blooms will soon follow, if the past is any indication.

It has been a few years since I have been able to harvest any seed . . .

Ah, my favorite species of Heli.....

Alas, I can't even find a place that sells the normal version of this plant.
Some days it just isn't worth chewing thru the restraints.

    Thanks all . . .

By "lowland gorilla," I simply meant rough clumsy treatment of the plant, both by me and by my dog, Bella, initiating some then-unplanned divisions . . .
