Here is "Firesticks" in the shade. Thanks....it is a great plant!! Yeah, the rosea is always a little chubby but you should see the size of "Big Momma"...puts the rosea to shame.

I had just watered it Mass but you're right, it has been kept pretty wet because it's so warm here. I certainly can't keep it in highland conditions like I should cuz I live in SoCal for god's sake and it's just too damn hot here in the summer. At least I have it indoors now instead of outside in the blazing sun as I did last year (which is why it almost died).

Just let me know and I'll save you a piece when it divides. It's a slow one but it's almost there!

Thanks Mass! It a purp venosa burkii x "Adrian Slack Imposter" that sprouted in 2006 and just turned 5 years old. It has some wonderful pitchers and a beautiful flower. Definitely a keeper.

Late fall pitchers - most of these were taken in the last 2-3 weeks or so.

    Hurricane Creek White' "selfed"

Leucophylla (Ctenium Field, Baldwin Co., AL)

    Leucophylla (Washington Co., AL)

    Leucophylla "Purple Lips"

Leucophylla "Purple Lips" x Flava Ornata

    Leucophylla (Perdido, FL #F - Route 173)

Leucophylla "Pink Eye" x "Adrian Slack Imposter"

    S. 'Harvest of Gold'

    Leucophylla Alba x Flava Rubricorpora

    S. Unknown Hybrid

    S. "Wilkerson's Red" x OP

    Sibling to the one above

    S. "Wilkerson's Red" x F2

    Sibling to the one above

    S. "Daina's Delight" (Still a favorite)

Purpurea Venosa Burkii x "Adrian Slack Imposter"

Purpurea Purp (Oakland Co., MI) x (Alata x Leuco)

    S. "Wilkerson's Red" x Alata red black

Nice full seed pod. Each of the 5 lobes had about 80/90 seeds

Hummingbirds just love the nectar on the pitchers and are on my plants all summer.

    Enjoy

Absolutely beautiful plants! Thanks for sharing those. I especially like the S.Catesbaei and S.”Northern Light," going to have to add 2 more to my wish list, LOL.
