Here are some pics of the the minibog I made last summer. It contains hitchhiking D. intermedia, 3 unidentified sarrs, and a S. purpurea spp. purpurea. All of the sarrs in it are from members of the forum and are the first sarrs that I have had survive more then 12 month.
The full bog.
The largest plant is one that looks like it has flava in it. It only seems to start to pitcher in fall.
This one looks like pure S. rubra to me, and pitchers year round. I like the shape of the spring pitchers the best.
The S. purpurea ssp. purpurea is tied for my favorite in my bog with the next one.
I think this one is pure leucophyla, what do you think?
And the D. intermedia. Not sure where they came from, they just popped up in the pot this spring. Maybe the seeds got in there when I got the sarrs? There are a lot in the bog.
